Victor Kisch • Director

Victor joined the Vital Life Foundation Board in 2011, hoping to make a difference in the lives of those being served by the Foundation. Of his work on the Foundation Board he says, "I look forward to learning more about so many different worthy causes. As a small foundation with limited resources, I want to be part of deciding how to allocate resources to make the greatest impact for those we serve."

Victor Kisch, J.D., graduated from Temple University's James E. Beasley's School of Law after receiving his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Iowa and his Master's from the University of Illinois. He now resides in Portland and is a partner in the law firm of Stoel Rives. He is a member of the Labor and Employment Group, which includes approximately 40 attorneys in seven states.

Victor is a prolific writer and a frequent speaker in Oregon and nationally. He blogs at www.stoelrivesworldofemployement.com and for five years wrote a monthly column for the Portland Business Journal. He is often quoted by the Associated Press and has appeared as a TV commentator at all Portland affiliates. He has been ranked as a first-tier labor and employment lawyer and has been included in the "Top 50" attorneys in Oregon by Super Lawyers.

Among his efforts to support laudable charitable organizations, Victor has served in several positions on the Lan Su Chinese Garden Board and actively supports organizations such as the VLF partner, Friends of the Children. His skills, experience, and dedication will make Victor a vital resource as VLF expands its ability to serve our friends and neighbors.
