Laughter is the Best Medicine

The Vital Life Foundation is proud to present its fourth annual “Laughter is the Best Medicine” event on March 8th, 2013 at the Bagdad Theater in SE Portland. Doors open at 6pm, show begins at 7pm.

The night of comedy will be hosted by Ron Lynch (Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Bob’s Burgers), and will feature stand-up performances by Dana Gould (The Simpsons) and Mystery Science Theater 3000 alumni Trace Beaulieu, J. Elvis Weinstein, and Frank Conniff. The second half of the evening will feature a live riff on Ed Wood’s classic, Plan 9 from Outer Space.

In addition to these amazing live performances, we will once again be featuring some local residents in our “Senior Schtick” segment.

Attendees can participate in the return of the Belt or Bust raffle for fabulous prizes. Proceeds from the event, organized by the Vital Life Foundation, will go to benefit the local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. This event is for those 21 and older with tickets available through the Bagdad Theater online, by phone, or at the box office.
